About Krista
I have always been a writer. When I was four, I would fold pages of printer paper in half and write my own “books” all afternoon, until there was no more paper left. As I grew up, I filled up journals and diaries and notebooks, and I became known as that nerdy kid at school who was eager to write papers and edit my peers’ work. My favorite class in college turned out to be Essay Writing, to the surprise of absolutely nobody. I graduated college with a degree in elementary education and put writing to the side for a while while I taught. When I became a mother, though, something shifted and I found that I needed to write like I needed to breathe. Now, I write whenever I can. When I’m not writing, you can find me reading, playing piano, running, or exploring outside with my husband and two children.
